we are less than 72 hours from take-off, and i am not ready at all. everything will be ok, though. i promise.
everyone has asked for pictures, so alan and i will be buying a digital camera (maybe even two if they are $6 each) when we get there. until then, you are going to have to settle for webcam pictures of us. and you will be thankful to have them, because there are very sad children in africa who have no pictures of us to look at EVER.
i think we will also be getting a skype account or two, and will let you know the details of that later. if you're not into skype, i've taken a real shine to gchat's video chat option, and look forward to being awake in the middle of the night to talk to you american types.
time to begin an adventure. weeeeeeee!

ReplyDeleteThere's a giant Sony shop in Tokyo that has insane cameras. They're not cheap, obviously, but they are inSAAAAAAAANE.

apparently i don't know japanese, but i will leave my blog as it is, because i think there SHOULD be a 'ga' in there, and eventually i will influence all of japan to see it my way.
